Proverbs 16:18 says, "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall." That is very serious warning that we have been given straight from God. If you're like me, you have probably seen cases where this verse became a reality in someone's life. There are many things that we can be prideful of in this life, but when we bring that pride into the body of Christ, we receive yet another warning from God, one that should shock us. Join me this Sunday as we look at the root of the problem with the Corinthian church but discover what we can do to fight that temptation. Looking forward to our time together as we connect with one another and engage with Jesus, our Crucified Christ.
