Merry Christmas & Blessed New Year
Dear Family & Friends,
Camp news from 2018:
So many wonderful things happened this summer and then some challenges. Once again, the Lord allowed us to minister to 567 campers this summer. We praise the Lord for many who put their trust and faith in Him. Watching as God works in the hearts of children and teens is one of the greatest joys by far. We thank the Lord for great staff and safety. We’re grateful for Joe & Anna Baker who assist us in the ministry. They have served with us for 5 years now and we are looking forward too many more years of ministering together. Their strengths, gifts and passion for camp work has allowed us to focus more on staff and
We had record attendance at Family Camp this fall and couldn’t begin to add up the number of volunteer hours people have put in to PBC in 2018. God is so faithful. We had some struggles with water as our snow pack from 2017 was so low. We thought we were going to have to dig a new well right away, but God brought a civil engineer (thanks, Bob Mayers) who helped us think through several other solutions on how to better use our existing well. So, we have several options to use for 2019 but it looks like water will be a major project for the next 3 to 5 years and a second well may yet be necessary for the future of the camp.
We are looking forward to our annual Winter Youth Rally the beginning of Feb and then a recruiting trip in March.

Ransom Family News:
We were blessed with a new grandchild this year! Samuel Steven Ransom was born to Jeff and Lindsay on July 10th. He’s growing like a weed and his two older sisters adore him! We have a dozen now ranging from 16 years to 5 months. We are looking forward to the summer of 2019 when, Lord willing, we’ll ALL be together. We were able to travel this past year and see all our kids and grandkids. A highlight for us was spending a few days in Lake Tahoe including two days of dirt bike riding for Steve, Jeremy and grandson, Lincoln. More highlights were seeing grand kid’s soccer games, getting in on a birthday celebration and having tea parties. Grand-parenting is such a joy.
Rhonda’s dad (who’s been living with us for 1 1/2 years now) and Steve’s mom (who lives 45 min away) are doing well and we are happy to be involved in caregiving and helping where we can. We are thankful for their good health.
2018 marked 30 years of camp ministry for us and we are so grateful for faithful friends and supporters along the way. As Paul says in Colossians 1 :29 “For this I toil, struggling with all HIS energy that HE powerfully works within me.” It is Christ in us that enables us to do what He has called us to do.
Merry Christmas and may Christ be your All in All in 2019
